Dear Colleagues,

Please join me in welcoming Thomas Undercuffler as the new Director of Facilities Information Systems (FIS). In his new role, Tom will work closely with the FIS team and many others throughout Facilities and the University to continue and expand upon the team's successful IT services.

Tom comes to Yale with over twenty years of broad IT experience including senior IT leadership positions, applications development, data center operations, call center operations and storage systems engineering. Tom has a strong background in management of IT professionals and in managing IT projects and has provided support in a variety of industries including manufacturing, call centers, financial services, banking, retail and insurance. Tom has a demonstrated ability to manage major change initiatives and ensure excellent customer service. Tom holds a B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering from Lehigh University.
