Dear Yale Colleagues,
This announces that effective immediately (retroactive to
January 1, 2005) that Mr. Stephen Brown is appointed Director of Project
Management for Yale Facilities Construction & Renovation (YFC&R).
Steve had been Acting Director Project Management since July 29, 2004.
During his time as Acting Director of Project Management,
Steve has made numerous significant contributions toward the re-organization of
Facilities Construction and Renovation while leading the successful project delivery
of all current major projects:
- Developed and deployed a staffing projection system that YFC&R uses to weekly
assess staff workload and plan assignments
- Re-organized the YFC&R strategic masterplan for tracking department improvement
plans
- Developed and deployed the prototype for a new monthly project results reporting
system. Steve is using the prototype to complete development of the permanent
project reporting system that will be deployed in May 2005.
- Has qualified to lead the YFC&R Cost Estimate Risk Analysis process used
for all major projects.

YFC&R Project Management Director.
